Question DetailsAsked on 10/8/2011

We are going to replace our siding on our split-level home. Our roof is Metal- burgundy, barnyard red. What color should our new siding be?

House sits on top of hill with large front yard. Large Maple trees in back. Cinder blocks are now painted black but could be painted any additional color. New shutters will be purchased but again, what color? I need an overall color scheme. Some have suggested grey but the siding that we have looked at doesn't come in a dark grey. So would it look right to go with a light grey? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

AS old siding salesman light colored appeals to me,, perhaps a almond beige or a pale yellow. Dark green shutters with raised panels and maybe a half round top, Menards etc, Paint the blocks to match the new siding color,, Black is not an upscale color. For advise on gutters go to my site.
