What are the best car rental companies at Tampa International Airport?

I have a condo in St Pete but I need to rent a car for two weeks when I arrive from Toronto in June.

My experience - for longer term rentals use a travel agent who has full access to their systems and the various coupon codes. Ours, who charges nothing for motel or car rental reservations (they get commissions) routinely saves us about $15-30/day (depending on how popular the desitination is) on weekly to monthly full size car rentals, versus what I can find on the web.

SO much depends on which company has un-reserved cars for a particular period, has an excess of dropped cars at their location they want to get out of the location (particularly on one-way rentals), etc. We had one instance where we were renting at a location that commonly had an excess of cars - we got a monthly rental at the one-week rate because we were willing to drop it near our destination 1000 miles away from the rental spot, at a place that needed cars, so we saved them the cost of trucking one several hundred miles. Ditto on a Disney World rental - by using a Disney combination deal, we were able to get a 2-day minivan rental on-property, which is commonly VERY expensive, for the cost of a 1 day normal Orlando full size car off-property rental, because our agent knew the deals available.

We rotate between Hertz, Budget, and National and Avis frequently, depending on the best deal each trip - and now they are charging to give airline miles with rentals, does not matter much which one you choose and there is little incentive to stay with any one company.
