What is the best way to clean wood floors that have a polyurethane coating -- satin gloss. The high traffic areas are showing some wear.

first try to clean the floor with factory recomended hardwood cleaner,
if the high trafic areas still showing.
then use or hire a professional to only resurface your floor by screening the floor and recoat it at least 3 coats of recomended hardwood floor clear palyurathan finish. (oil or water base finish ).
that will be less cost to you and keep you floor looking new ,and it is great investment for your house.
