You can find some prior discussions on painting costs in the Home >Painting link in Browse Projects, at lower left, but generally - VERY generally - about $1-1.50/SF is a common cost for house "field" painting assuming no significant scraping or priming is needed; and about $1-2/LF for trim - VERY rough numbers. Because you say both are peeling, might be as much as $0.50-1.50 range higher for scraping and priming depending on how work is involved - so you definitely need several bids, because some painters HATE prep work and charge high for it.
