What's the best way to ensure you're watering your container garden properly?

After having an in-ground garden for a few years, I moved and am now container-only gardening. It seems like the pots dry out very quickly, and I'm concerned I may be under- or over-watering them. Anyone have tips?

Of course it depends on the size of your containers but you will need to water them probably every other day and even once a day in very hot weather. Always water until you see water run out the bottom. This means you have given it a through drink. Good Luck!
