Question DetailsAsked on 6/20/2017

What type of company do I hire to clean a home and property to prepare for sale

I live out of state and I am preparing the family home for sale in Los Angeles, CA. I need someone to clean the inside of the house, walls, floors, windows, etc. and empty the house and yard of any debris. I will also need lawn mowing and yard maintenance like watering while the house is on the market.

In addition to House Cleaning and Landscaping (or Yard Work maybe) Search the List categories, don't forget possible Gutter Cleaning (with roof washing if needed) and Window Washing.

For serious cleaning out of debris/junk (more than normal housecleaning) you may also need a Hauling contractor (junk hauling, two guys with a truck type vendor - though of course they need guidance on what to take and what to leave. They can commonly also do general cleanup of manmade (as opposed to natural) junk and trash lying around the yard, which most landscaping companies are not into.

You can also find ballpark typicall cost info for each of those tasks in the respective category under Browse Projects, at lower left.
