Question DetailsAsked on 5/12/2017

Where do I find a 4 screw patio door latch?

I took out a dog door from a previous owner and it seems they threw the old latch away. There are four screw holes where the latch was. I've looked at a couple stores and on web to no avail. Anything that would point me in the right direction would be great!

Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, Menards and the like commonly have a pretty good selection - though granted usually 2 screw type these days. If you take in dimensions of the hole and a template you may be able to find a two-hole set that will work.

Most larger towns and cities have a specialty hardware place - ask your local hardware store or lumberyard who they are - take a photo of the door and the doorjamb too.
