Who does underlinement for mobile homes?

Moisture on all windows now, from unsealed underlinement. Repairs to the floor. Broke the underliner belly

Mobile home moving and setup companies (no Angies List category for that) and Remodeling - Modular/Mobile Homes (or a category titled something like that) are two categories - also Insulation companies commonly do this as part of an insulating job.


Unless the area under your trailer is chronicallywet, I would wonder if the liner is the cause of the moisture - might be a water pipe leak under there, which I wonder if that is why the underliner "belly" broke - because it is water saturated ?


Also, consider if underliner is what you want - that is pretty "old school" for most trailers. These days the more common solution, and makes for easier hidden pipe maintenance too, is insulation with a "housewrap" product under it stretched across the bottom of the trailer. Provides the same draft control and can (with proper application) hold the insulation in and keep vermin out, as the underliner was intended to do.
