No promises, especially with the junk coming out of China and INdonesia and Thailand and such, where I have a number of times seen exactly backwards wiring. TECHNICALLY, if wired per code, black would be positive (live) and white would be common or neutral (return),


The charger, if it has one larger prong than the other - the larger one SHOULD be connected to the white wire - neutral.


The charger wiring - again if per code - the neutral/white wire should have an edge ridge or flat side or lettering on it, with the black or "live" wire being plain.
