Question DetailsAsked on 3/2/2017

a contractor that can convert my shower into a steam shower

I have a 4 year old home with one bathroom having a prefabricated fiberglass tub and shower. I would like to remove the existing tub, build a new enclosure, and install a steam mist steam unit.

A Remodel - Kitchen and Bath contractor would be the normal Search the List category for this - also some specialty bath vendors for saunas ans steam showers and such also do installs.

Just be careful about ventilation - because a steam unit in a bathroom without greatly increased ventilation and commonly enhanced lighting to prevent mold can be a mess. And generally the lighting (which may incllude ultraviolet to inhibit mold growth) and fan unit should be on timer switches so they dry and illuminate the room for at least an hour after a steam shower - longer is better, especially in naturally humid ares.
