best way repair door frame and what could be causing patio door sagging

6' patio door jamb rotten,brick mold rotten,and also the mull between doors rotten.i hope i don't have any rotting issues under on sill,etc.

You called it probably - rotting sill, plate - maybe even floor framing, from water getting in under the door off a patio or deck, or from rain hitting and soaking into the door framing or sill. I would be prepared for rot to the foundation (and into it if wood foundation).


If you were using a Handyman, perhaps cheapest to repair (assuming the door frames themselves are not rotten) - but with a Window company or General Contractor almost certainly cheapest to just tear it out, replace any rotten wall plate/sillor rough opening framing as needed, and put a new door unit.
