And what about them ?

If looking for a place, cheaper lines are commonly availalbe at box home improvement stores. Lumber yards and building supply places carry them, and of course roofing wholesale distributors (some do not sell to the public).

Oh - if buying shingles, pay attention to whether they are stacked beyond what the packaging says or left out in the weather (especially hot weather which softens the tar and cause deformed shinglesand causes the tar tabbing to stick to underlying shingles - visualize the 15' high stacks in my local Home Depot parking lot all summer long when the labelling clearly says to store out of direct sunlight and not stack over 6 feet high.

If you mean buying a reroof job, then Roofing would of course be the Search the List category to find well-rated and reviewed contractors to bid your job.

You can find a lot of previous roofing questions, dealing with roofing repair, types of roofing, some thoughts on brands, and ballpark costs - look in the Home > Roofing link under Browse Projects, at lower left.
