job complete went to give money - and what happened ? I presume he said price had gone up, or something.

You stopped before ending the entry, or lost part of it. (Angie's List has a flaw in the programming - if you start typing too soon before the Answer Question page finishes loading, only what you typed before it finished loading gets into the system).

As a contractor you can not increase the contract price without a change order and that has to be approved by you. The price quoted is the price the work must be done for.......
