Here is a previous response to that basic question -

Of course, whether or not it is attached (more expensive if it is because you can't just pull it over), value of any salvaged metal to the contractor (siding not worth much in some areas and up to about $0.50/lb in others, steel framing is commonly about $0.05-0.15/lb as scrap), and whether you are removing and disposing of any block or concrete walls or foundations/slabs make a big difference in the bid price too.

For comparison, depending on roof structure and how damaged it is, maybe $15-25/SF to rebuild/replace the roof (including framing), commonly - so if you don't want to get rid of the garage you might get bids for that for comparison.

Also - be sure to check if your zoning REQUIRES a so-many car garage for your house, and you might talk to your favorite realtor about decrease in house value without any garage - if the repair versus teardown costs are comparable (and likely are, at least if removing foundation/slab too) and many times even if not, that might decide it for you - can easily make $15-30,000 difference in typical home value - and makes a big difference in saleability (number of prospective buyers who even look at your house) in very hot or cold areas too.
