cost of removing load bearing wall about 4 X 8 ft

we have a hall way part of wall we want to remove. We want to remove about 3-4ft of the wall

Here are links to a number of previous similar questions - though they were usually looking at 8-20 feet or so of wall removal - so assuming this will leave a foot or two between the new opening and any existing opening (room for appropriate studs/posts at the existing opening edge) probably more like $500 range - basically what it costs to rough frame out a doorway. This of course assumes plaster/drywall and stud wall - not concrete or brick.
