Question DetailsAsked on 1/25/2018

do moving companies help people move furniture/appliances from 1 storage unit to another in the same site?

beyond walking due to different storage buildings - 1 box truck will do it. Only time-consuming aspect is the loading & unloading & placement of items in new storage unit. Maybe 1/2 day's work?

Sure - Moving is the Search the List category to find well-rated and reviewed vendors for this.

Other options - if the facility has paved drive and provides wheeled platform dollies (and elevators if above ground floor), just use those and do a bit of walking, unless a tremendous amount of stuff.

Another option - expecially if you have friends who will help - rent a UHaul box truck or pickup truck and do it yourself.

Some storage places like Publix Storage also have a small box truck available for rent - or if they are making you move for repairs to your unit, or you rented a larger unit, they commonly give you a day's rental for free. Ditto many times if you pay 6-12 months rental in advance.
