To pressure wash or scrub, very light scraping or sanding and spot prime those areas, spot caulk missing caulk only, then 2 finish coats typically about $2-3/LF. Heavy scraping or strip to bare wood, prime, caulk, 2 coat typically more like $3-4/LF. Maybe 25-50% more for parts over 2 stories or working from roof on dormers.


Not clear what the 1500 sf was meant for - to indicate size of house, or did you mean exterior surface painting too - by above standards, light cleaning/prep typically around $1-2/SF (commonly around $1.50), to $2-4/SF for heavier prep.
