Question DetailsAsked on 4/7/2017

general cost to replace water line in 90year old home 48104.

I have a t-pipe just above the galvanized pipe from the street that has begun leaking rust and water in my duplex. The plumber states that it is caused by deterioration of the galvanized pipe and that the line needs replacement. I understand this could mean excavation, but have also heard that you can get "trenchless pipe replacement" done by places like Mr. Rooter. Can someone give me feedback on whether the t-pipe can just be replaced and if the trenchless option is a good idea.
