You can find a lot of previous similar questions in the Home > HVAC link under Browse Projects, at lower left.

Considering you are talking either a heat pump, or both a furnace and a separate air conditioner, I would expect this to run minimum about $4000-6000 installed for that small a unit, and up to maybe $8000 depending on efficiency and such.

Of course, you can also get bids of $10,000-20,000 but that does not mean they will be beneficial to you, or if the vendors are pushing extreme efficiency units that the added investment will ever pay off in energy savings. Do a bit of research and talk to several vendors, and run a few numbers on efficiency savings vdersus cost before going whole-hog on very high efficiency units - especially with that small a condo, because especially in small houses and most especially in condos with adjoining units, extreme efficiency units are commonly a money-losing proposition.

That cost range assuming this is a replacement of similar units - not brand new installation in a building without any HVAC installed yet.
