Probably about $250 - maybe $300-350 if anything but smooth finish (textured, etc). This does NOT include priming or painting - you would need to do that yourself or have a painter in for that.

A handyman might do it for as little as half that, but on ceilings you generally want the pros - every little deviation and bulging seam shows up much more than on walls, because your head is right below it and looking down the length of it, so variations show up much better on ceiling than on walls or floors.
