If you are talking the meter socket/lugs only because lugs/socket broke, then see the lug replacement response - assuming parts for that meter are still available.

If you mean the entire meter panel, a double-meter box coming off one incoming power feed or drop (say two meters to separately bill use in a duplex or a house with rental apartment) will cost about $50-100 more than a single meter box, otherwise responses below should apply. There are multi-feed multi-meter (individual power drops for each meter) boxes available for commercial applications for $400-1000 and would cost probably 50-100% more than indicated in above responses for labor, but I can't see ever using that on a residential service unless you are running a massive grow operation in a home business.

These costs presume the wiring is OK - if the lugs melted off commonly the wiring is damaged for some inches back also, and may no longer be long enough to connect so will require replacement of that too at a variable cost depending on access and length of run.
