how much does it cost to replace garage door opener?

replace existing garage door opener with new one. labor cost only

Commonly about $150-250 assuming a simple swap-out without significant modifications needed to the mounting system - usually pretty straight-forward. Sometimes as low as $100 range labor for replacement with identical configuration one so can use same mounting hardware that is already in the ceiling. Plus the hundred to three for the opener and any remotes/keypad, emergency reverser if not equipped with one now, etc.
