Depends a LOT on what the nature of the problem is - frost heaving, disintegration of bricks, wood rot at the chimney interface, foundation failure, mortar deterioration, etc - can run from probably in the $1000'sish range on up to the cost of a total rebuild - commonly several thousand for standard 2-story chimney.
