ive cleaned the mold from the pipes can i spray paint them now we had mold growing on our basement and water pipes

You could spray paint them - repair plumbers will curse at you a bit when they have to clean it off for repairs, and the painting will have negligable effect - but if you want pretty pipes I guess you could do it. In fact, unless an oil-base paint it will likely grow mold better than ever.


What you need to do is solve the basement moisture problem or you will get mold again - and if it was growing on your pipes you have a serious basement humidity and ventilation issue, calling for either remediation of basement water inflow from outside; and/or a duhumidification system to remove the excess moisture.
