I am not in your area but I will give you a few tips on getting the right service.

Fertilization: In most states you need an applicators license to provide this service. Using too much or too little can have an adverse effect on the lawn and enviornment and can get you heavy fines if you live by a water source.

Weeding: People sometimes think that "lawn service" means that they will do gardener duties such as pulling weeds and trimming. Most Lawn services will consider this additional services.

Irrigation: Mowers tend to seek out sprinkler heads and wack them. Ask if repairs are included or additional. A broken head can lose 1000's of gallons of water and should be repaired right away.

Try to get everything in writing as to what is included and not included.
Don't be afraid to complain. These are usually small businesses and they need your feedback.
