Question DetailsAsked on 4/27/2017

lists of potential timber buyers who are interested in purchasing developrd oak trees from my yard

I have a side yard full of small to large oak trees that needs clearing for placement of solar panels for whole house electricity. Would like stump removal and clearing in exchange for timber and resell-able mature trees and perhaps a bit of profit

There are a lot of previous similar questions with answers, and discussions regarding types of vendors who do this and some of the risks of unpaid tree removal, in the Lawn & Garden > Tree Service linkk under Browse Projects, at lower left.

Also check with Planning and Zoning about limitations on the percentage of land area or number of trees you can remove - many areas have limitations to prevent clearcutting and such.

Also - hope you have checked on solar farm zoning - on-ground solar panels are prohibited in many residential areas.

Aside from the fact generally solar installations like this are not economic on a residential basis, I hoe you are not doing this to be "green" - shades of the song by Joni Mitchell where (to paraphrase) they 'cut down all the trees and put up a parking lot'. Be prepared for a LOT of unhappy neighbors unless you are on a very large lot - from the eyesore and the reflection standpoint, not to mention the noise when it hails or rains hard.
