More information is required due the fact that the age of your home

will determine whether your painted sufaces can in fact be sanded .

In 2010 EPA set in place a National Requirement that prohibits the sanding

of surfaces painted prior to 1978, due to the Use of Lead based paint prior to 1978.

Contractors can No longer sand surfaces painted before 1978 if lead paint is present.

Tests must be performed to determine whether you have lead paint .

Contractors NOT performing The EPA mandated course of actions ,when Required ,are subject to a $ 32,000.00 per day fine
