Below are links to a number of previous similar questions regarding those and a few other popular premium shingles. My recommendation based on some problems in recent years with Atlas and TAMKO shingles - choose neither and go with a Certainteed, GAF, or Owens Corning shingle.

And for long life I have finally been convinced (yeah, one of these days I will trade my dinosaur in for a pickup truck too) that you should go with architectural (overlapping tabs) rather than normal tabbed shingles where the tab slots are exposed. Just makes a terrible difference in the deterioration of shingles from the dust accumulating in the tab slots and building up moss and lichen, leading to shingle breakdown.

Or if you go with the tabbed shingles for economic reasons, if there is any chance of accumulation of significant amount of blown dirt/dust or tree pollen on the roof, use Moss Out for Roofs regularly (usually eery 2-3 years depending on how much hard rain or roof washing it will see) to prevent growth and wash the roof off whenever it starts showing growth in the tab slots or visible buildup of debris on it (typically in the fall after the leaves are pretty much all down).
