Ballpark numbers for the steps themselves - about $60-100/step depending on width, your location, etc - installed cost typically around $120-200/step. Of course, this assumes decent access - for truck with boom crane, utility/dump truck with trailer, or a larger bobcat or front end loader for instance to get it in there and place it - otherwise, ,you may be where many homeowners end up - going with cast-in-place or wood because the access issues are too difficult.

If you know what it cost before, figure about 5% inflation per year and prorate based on number of steps in each for a rough ballpark cost. And if you rememer who did the work, call them back for a quote and remind them they did your front steps - might be they will give you a 5-10% discount as a return customer.

Concrete would obviously be your Search the List category - and unless you are trying to avoid concrete mess in that area, I would not specify precast - let the contractor decide which is cheapest.
