This is not regular health insurance, it's a Limited Medical Indemnity Benefit plan. You do not have a stop loss like a normal plan, you don't have copay's for RX or doctor visits and you have no protection against going bankrupt from medical bills.

This type of coverage is designed for people who are unisurable, but due to the PCIP, this type of coverage is becoming far less popular. It has a $99.95 application fee and states the following on bottom of page 5 of it's brochure: "THIS IS NOT BASIC HEALTH INSURANCE OR MAJOR MEDICAL COVERAGE AND IS NOT DESIGNED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR BASIC
HEALTH INSURANCE OR MAJOR MEDICAL COVERAGE. HOSPITAL INDEMNITY PLANS ARE EXEMPT FROM COORDINATION OF BENEFITS PROVISIONS."

Speak to a knowledgeable insurance broker before purchasing a plan like this.

I have been reading the complaints about Optimun One Health and they do alarm me. I need insurance and the offer sounds to good to be true. The offer was 190.00 a month and no co-pay or deductible and they say they are a multi-plan but I am scared that it is a trap. What do you think?
