A company to remove bamboo from backyard Atlanta Ga

We need someone to cut and remove bamboo from our backyard in Decatur Ga

Landscaping company would be your Search the List category - or Excavation if digging up the dirt containing the roots too (without which, or poisoning them, it will just pop right back up).

If you want only cutting - not digging out the roots - Tree Service companies will do this also, assuming you are talking a goodly sized stand.

Note - you do NOT want to use a stump grinder to get the roots out unless that dirt is totally removed as well - because chopping up the roots and leaving them in place the plant loves - will resprout in profusion if you dig up the roots but do not remove that soil. Rather than doing that, you are better off using a brush and shrub killer poison like Roundup - or the weed and grass super concentrate, as per this article -

BTW - ignore the burning suggestion - will burn off the foilage but bamboo comes back strong and with many new shoots if you burn it off.
