A plumber recommending using Hydro-Jetting method to clear out roots from the main line. What is the average cost?

Main sewer line is draining slow. We have proper cleanout access in the front of the house. A plumber came today using a snake method but indicated there are roots (approx. 20 feet away from the house) and recommending using Hydro-Jetting method to clear the root. We live in Monterey Park. What is the estimate cost?

With finer roots hydrojetting can clear them - large roots can be a problem. My preference is full-diameter router scraping over jetting as it gives a more consistent job in general - also cuts roots better.

Here is a prior similar question with a fairly detailed answer I gave which pretty much fits you case too, and also talks about long-term measures to minimize or prevent recurrence.
