A provider did work but now the windows leak. He wont answer calls or emails. now what?

We had a company install roof and skylights. four skylights installed. 1 leaked the second day. came and fixed a week later. now a month later two others leak. he didn't answer for 4 days. said he would be by never did. now wont respone to emails or calls. We have paid him and now hes got the money he wont return calls but still working jobs.

If recently paid, see if you can stop payment. If paid on credit card, file a written complaint with the credit card company.

Assuming this is recently done work, file a claim with his bonding company - providing documentation of his non-responsiveness. If they are non-responsive try his insurance company for compensation/repair of the water damage at least, though they will certainly not cover the repairs themselves.

You can also (much slower response but will get his attention) file a complaint with the state licensing board, if roofers or window installers have to be licensed in your state - yes in some, not in others.

And of course when all is said and done, an appropriate review on AL.

call and e-mail him ask him to please respond then put a time line and dead line for response. your next step a complaint and bad review on Agies list, that should wake him up.
