Question DetailsAsked on 1/19/2020

A roofer estimated work around 9k. His invoice after the job is 11K. We both signed it. Am i obligated?

The roofer claims more square footage and having to dispose of a drip edge (extra 800). He also claims he mistakenly quoted the wrong type of shingle. My invoice is 3K more- and they sent the invoice to my insurance company asking for payment. The adjuster had blueprints of the square footage with detailed measurement and they compared notes before my roof was done! I am wondering how that happens. Am I obligated to pay the roofer more that he quotes?
