A tip: Make sure to change furnace filter after having floors refinished

Just had my floor refinished and did not realize that all the dust would get into my furnace filter. Not really a question - but a tip to others.

Hi, this is Meranda with Angie's List. Thanks for the great tip! I'll pass this on to our Newsroom to mention next time we write about floor refinishing. Don't forget to leave a review for your refinishing company, and before and after pictures if you have them! Thanks!

Chances are ,much of the dust made it past the filter and is now in the indoor fan and the AC coil if you have AC. Unless you have a better then average filter.

I suggest you cal your HVAC Conytractor for an annual cleaning and mintenance check. Be sure they check the AC coil if you have AC.
