You can se a lot of similar questions with answers in the Home > TV Repair link under Browse Projects, at lower left - but most comments seem to indicate if repair cost is more than about $300 and TV is under about 40-45 inch or so, probably cheaper to buy a new one.

Large screens tend to run in the $300-1000 range, and labor certainly around $100-200 bare minimum to change it out (and likely more), so for a TV like your ($449 current box store price) it seems real unlikely that repair is going to be economic - but you could call a TV Repair shoip (your Search the List category) and ask with your full model number.
