A quick product listing book search shows 15 year warranty tankless water heaters available from following at least - though not all are available in all capacities or fuels - State Rheem AO Smith Noret Takagi Rinnai Noritz Bosch

12-year max warranties:

Reliance

Bradford-White

Kenmore

Whirlpool Of course, in most or all cases will be a product-only warranty, at least after the first year max probably, and some may have fine print about requiring proof of PROFESSIONAL annual deliming and cleaning (not DIY) and so forth to keep the warranty valid, so read the documents. And most are likely pro-rated after 1 year, not full replacement. Also - some warranties are for replacement with their product only, so if it fails you do not have the option of a cash refund or going with another brand. My experience - more like yours - don't count on more than 5 years life max, and less commonly.
