The equipment used for duct cleaning varies from an industrial sized shop vac, to an $80,000 rig mounted on a large truck. The larger unit s much more powerful.

Many low priced ones are close to bait and switch, with many add-ons when they get there.

Check the Federal EPA website, they have found no value in duct cleaning. Fact is the usual dust acci=umulation, stays put in the duct.

I would consider duct cleaning only if I had a "certified mold tester, certify that I had mold growing in the ducts", even then I might just replace , rather then clean.

May I ask , why you are considering cleaning them, any issues?
