Question DetailsAsked on 6/19/2020

Amish construction co. hired to repair leaking roof. Before job complete, pop up storm not in forecast. Not paid.

Forecast was checked before starting job. No showers predicted before evening. Pop up storm before roof was done. Small amount of water damage. Offered to knock a little of price and repair damage at no cost to client. Client refused to pay anything towards labor. These guys worked through the storm, getting soaked, to get the job done. Remember, roof was leaking BEFORE they took the job. Being Amish they cannot sue. I am not Amish. Can I, as an "employee" do anything to help them get paid for the work done?
