Any experience/reviews for windows and patio doors made by Window Mart Inc?

We are replacing the original single pane, aluminum windows and a sliding patio door in our home. The replacement windows and door are made by Window Mart, and I cannot find customer reviews on this manufacturer. Has anyone had Window Mart (7000 series) windows and patio door installed in their home? If so, how do you feel about the quality of materials used as opposed to other, more popular, manufacturers?

Hi, VetsFirstHome.

We don't have member reviews for manufacturers, so if you don't find an answer on here, be sure to check Angie's List for some top-rated replacement window and door companies in your area that you can ask.

I did a bit of checking and as you know Window Mart is an Arkansas window maufacturer with an A+ Better Business Bureau rating. I looked at the 7000 series and it appears a lower tier replacement window. No defects. No warranty info was available. I suggest a two fold approach to window and sliding door replacement.
#1 Pick an installer with top drawer experience. Good references and solid answers to installation questions. Angie's List is a start.
#2 Get the lowest U value glass you can justify. Sun and heat control in your climate is a consideration.
Dont expect the new windows to pay for themselves in energy Savings.
You won't live that long. Enjoy the no thermal draft off the single pane windows and the ease of operation of new windows and door.

I am a Angies list member in Arkansas, live in Bismarck. I am building a new home. Looked at the Window Mart Inc web site. Their NFRC ratings are in a table for every window they sell. The table provides both the U-Factor and SHGC. Their warranty is lifetime and can be downloaded from their web site for lawyer review. They look good to me so I am considering.
