Anyone have advice on IVF treatments?

I am about to make a decision of doing IVF process. I'm seeing Dr. Dimattina of Dominion Fertility. Is there anyone who had fertility treatment in this clinic? How was your experience? Anyone actually had the procedure with Dr. Dimattina? Or, if you have any suggestions about Drs and/or fertility clinics, I appreciate if you could let me know.

First, I would suggest you look up the clinics in your state's statistics that have been recorded by the Center of Desease Control (CDC). Every year, almost all IVF clinics clinics report their successes and falures to the CDC. Because it takes a lot of time to collect their data, the newest STATS that are available are from 2004. This is very normal. You can also look at the previous years of data, and see if they've improved, or stayed the same. You mentioned that you are considering Dominion Fertility, which I looked up and found that they are in Virginia. Is that where you live? If so, you might want to compare them with the other fertility clinics in Virginia. The link to the CDC page for Virginia fertility clinics is:
The link to Dominion Fertility is here:
What you need to do, is look for your specific diagnoses, and see which clinic in your state has the best STATS for that.
The next thing I would suggest you do, is check the prices of each one. If you are paying out-of-pocket, it is worth paying a little more for a better clinic than having to pay TONS more for an extra cycle; not to mention the emotional toll of having to do multiple cycles.
There are many variables to consider when choosing a fertility clinic- they are based on success, finance, your initial diagnoses, etc.Since I don't know what your specific diagnoses is (male factor, advanced maternal age (AMA), PCOS, tubal, etc..) so I can't recommend any specific clinic to you; you will have to select one based on the two rsearch links I've given you: the STATS, and the $$$.
