Approximately how much will it cost to install microhood and outlet?

Need to install microhood and have it on a separate circuit. I think I will need to have an outlet installed above the current hood as there is currently no outlet. Approximately how much should this cost (home is in S. FL)? I've received quotes but they are all over the place.

Here is a very similar question and answers from a day or so ago, relating to bathroom and kitchen fans. Installation of a microwave/hood combo is about the same as for a kitchen fan - same issues, just installing a different sized unit. The biggest variable factors in the cost is ease of running duct (easiest through accessible attic direct to roof), and how far he has to go to find power. In your case, since you need a new circuit, I would add $100-150 to the referenced article cost, because an electrician will have to pull a new circuit all the way from the breaker box. I would guess this cost is where the bids varied the most.
