Question DetailsAsked on 10/13/2015

Are there any companies that will perform a thorough cleaning after a remodeling project?

We just had some remodeling work done on our home and it has produced quite a bit of fine dust everywhere. We had most of the soft items (furniture/clothing/bedding) covered but it seems like every nook and cranny is full of the dust from the drywall sanding and flooring replacement. I know that there are fire/water restoration companies, but how do I look for a cleaning service for this type of work.

Yes Water and Smoke Damage companies do this - some routinely do post-construction cleanups as a regular service.

Some Housecleaning companies also just call it a Deep Clean - typically in the few hundred $ range.

If you google for Construction Cleanup firms (along with your town name) you could also check those companies on AL for reviews/ratings too. These (typically 1-man or family) companies are typically hired to clean up debris in the yard and basement, vacuum and wipe/mop all surfaces, do windows, etc after construction is done and (ideally) right before carpeting and painting is done. Some also do duct cleaning, pressure washing, etc - general house cleaning work.
