Back in 2012, I sent in a review, while not a member. Now I am a member, when will the review status change?

The review was for Aloha Air Conditioning, Inc. It was in October of 2012. Why hasn't the status changed online from non member status to member status?

Unless I am sorely mistaken, review status is based on the status AT THE TIME IT WAS SUBMITTED - so that review will always show as a non-member review, which it was at the time. I am not certain of the timeline they allow for editing a review, but you might be able to game the system, if you really want it to show as a Member review, by trying to edit it now - it may recognize your new status and change it, maybe not.


I guess you could always call AL member care and see if they will change it, but my guess is they will say no - it was a non-member review then, and so it stays. I don't see the big difference, unless you are trying to get the rating to affect the contractor's current rating - which it would not have much effect on if that old, because as I understand it old ratings carry a much lower weighting than recent ones.
