Bathroom ceiling

I have a question. With all of the rain we've had in the Boston area over the past couple of weeks, I've discovered a stain and leak in the ceiling of my bathroom - it's coming in from my attic (on top of the bathroom) but I can't tell if the leak is coming through an area where a PVC exhaust pipe is going through the roof (sort of above the stain area) or coming through the PVC pipe itself and leaking where it conncts with another PVC pipe (coincidentally right above the stain in the bathroom ceiling). It looks like the leak has been there for sometime as it went through the insulation in the attic and settled on the ceiling board for the bathroom. My questions are: 1. To fix the bathroom ceiling what category should I select from? I've looked in drywall, handyman, and even painters as whey all sort of seem to do this. I'm leaning toward drywall. 2. To determine where the kea is coming in would a drywall company be able to tell me? I wouldn't expect them to fix it - I'm just trying to fnd out how many different companies/people I'd have to deal with.
