There is a way to remove dog or even cat urine odors from carpet.

If the carpet and padding is completely saturated it will need to be replaced.

Peel up a corner of the carpet at or near the dog or cats favorite pee spot,

if it is not dripping wet you can save the carpet and get rid of the odor.

You will need lots of enzymatic cleaners and lots of ozone, which to be effective could take a week. However the odor may return with a vengeance.

BioSweep may have a service provider in your area.

They use a photocatalytic processs that changes the molecules in the surrounding air into a powerful sterilizing plasma gas, which includes singlet oxygen, superoxide, hydrogen peroxide, and three oxyradicals: hydroxyl radicals, the Atomic oxygen radical, and hydro peroxide radical. They also produce lots of high quality ozone called trivalent oxygen. The offending odors are completely destroyed at the molecular level through oxidation, as well as any pathogens, bacteria, mold, mildew, allergens and nicotene. (vent cleaning no longer needed) and all this without using any chemicals at all.
