Bought an older home, gutters are bad. Rain falls on to side of house walkway. Will the rainhandlers system be good

Is the "rainhandler" system good for preventing rain falling on to side of house walk way?

If your home is a single story and walk way is immediately next to basement wall, it should stay reasonably dry except when it is windy. If all of these conditions are not met, keep gutters on home, ie replace them.
