Question DetailsAsked on 10/8/2015

Can I pour concrete over existing cracked concrete in my outdoor shed?

When I bought this house (built in 1945) 3 years ago, this structure was described as a "detached garage". However it is nothing more than a very nice shed and is about 10x20. The concrete slab has a pretty significant crack down the middle, about a 4" gap in the largest part. I use this strictly as a workshop/storage and dont want to spend the amount of money it would cost to demo the slab and have a new one poured. Can I just have 2-4" of concrete poured right on top of the existing slab?
