Can someone recommend home inspectors for Dallas area with 1 million or more General liability insurance?

I am buying a new home with Standard Pacific homes in Allen TX and they want the third party home inspector I bring to have a general liability insurance of 1 million.

This is a trick new home builders are playing to discourage independent home inspection, in my opinion - because most inspectors carry $10-100K insurance, not $1 million plus. The bump-up to $1 million liability from say $100,000 is likely to add $1000/year ballpark to their overhead.

You would have to Search the List for Home Inspectors and then after you short-list some based on reviews and ratings, start contating them about how much liability insurance they have.

And I would bet the builder is next going to come back and ask for an endorsement for them as Additional Insured - otherwise the policy does nothing to protec them against claims about the inspector's actions or negligence or accidental damage.
