Carrier Furnace, Electric Pilot lite lit and ticking, No fire down burners

Thermostat works , Controller card replaced about 5 months ago - AC worked fine . Now that is cold - no heat

Assuming the thermostat has been set to HEAT from A/C if yours has a selector switch for that, could be a wiring problem, exhaust fan failure to start if non-condensing high-efficiency unit, a failed sensor, gas valve failure, etc. This is the sort of Fall surpise that annual pre-season maintenance checkups and cleanings are supposed to prevent.

Contact a Heating and A/C (your Search the List category) contractor to have it looked at - diagnostic visit charge typically $75-150, plus of course any parts and additional labor needed for the fix itself.
